Shots are No Fun!

Julia has been weighed. She has been measured.  And she has been found cute!

Jules had her 4 month well-baby check-up on Friday.  We usually see doctor Baker, but this time we saw Wade Christensen.  He was very nice and Julia and I both decided we like him!  As you can see from the stats, she weighs 13 lbs. 12 oz, is 25 inches long, and her head circumference is 15 3/4 inches.  She handled her shots ok and calmed down pretty quickly, but has acted a little off the last couple days.  She hasn't had any reactions though so we're not worried and she's getting back to being herself.

She slept in her own room the last two nights! I'll put up pictures as soon as I get it cleaned and organized the rest of the way!

Four Months Old

So this was the first time I thought to take pictures of Julia when she turned a month and of course she didn't want to cooperate!  Here are some of the better shots!

She still doesn't smile for the camera!  the little stinker!  We had a good day though.  Julia took two naps in her new crib that Daddy put together this weekend!  She's not moved into her new room permanently yet.  I'm trying to ease her into it with naps before we try nighttime.

Her four month well-baby is on Friday.  Any guesses on length and weight?  At her two month she was 11 lbs 8 oz and 23 inches long.

Pictures of Jules

First of all thanks to everyone who helped with Julia's blessing lunch!    It had been a while!  This first picture Julia with her cousins on the other side after Cody's blessing.  Going left to right they are Damien (born in October), Anna (born November 8), Julia (born November 25), and Cody (born December 29)

Here is Julia getting a bath!  We have a picture of her not so covered up, but I don't think Ben would like it if I put that one on!  She likes her baths for the most part but usually starts crying when we get her out!
I think I was trying to get a picture of her smiling.  She smiles a lot, but as soon as I get out the camera she stops and seems more interested in the shiny object in front of her.  This is as close as I can get.
My Mom and Dad with Julia at Sub Zero after her blessing!  Thank you Mom for making such a beautiful blessing dress! and Congrats again on your new calling Dad!  Hope all is going well.

New

Well, I'm back to work.  I started working four days a week at Sub Zero last week.  Mickey is watching Julia on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights and Ben takes care of her on Tuesday afternoons.  It's fun being back to work except for having to leave Julia.

We are working on moving Julia into her own room.  She's been doing well in our room; sometimes going 10 hours in between feedings at night, but we have the extra room and I think it will be good for all of us.  Julia and I won't wake up Ben when we have to get up in the middle of the night, and we won't wake up Julia when we stir or snore. My mom and dad helped me make and hang some cute curtains up in Julia's room today!

Julia was blessed on the 8th of February!  Here are some fun pictures of her at Sub Zero for the lunch afterward.
